WhY Bamboo?

Bamboo offers a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional hardwood, significantly aiding in deforestation reduction. Its rapid growth rate and high yield per hectare make it an efficient choice for flooring, thereby reducing the need to cut down trees. Additionally, regular harvesting of bamboo, typically every 3-5 years, is beneficial for its regeneration and maintains the strength of the wood. Contrary to its appearance, bamboo is actually a grass, belonging to the Poaceae family.

Our Vision

At the heart of our vision lies the goal to create innovative bamboo-based materials, while ensuring the sustainability of our forest resources. We aim to set new standards in both product quality and environmental stewardship.

Project Overview

Spanning over one million hectares of virgin bamboo forest, our project is a testament to the potential of bamboo as a sustainable resource. Our main focus is on producing 600,000 m2 of bamboo parquet annually, starting in 2025.

Our operations in Bonga town, Western Ethiopia, are guided by the principles of sustainable forest management. We adhere to international best practices for environmental conservation, ensuring our bamboo products are not only high-quality but also eco-friendly.
